Last week Friday Mr Hendricks came with his simple machine and he showed us what he meant by lifting someone up with his thumb, but he actually meant that he was going to push down the wood with someone standing on the other side. When he first told us that he was going to lift sive up we could not believe it, we thought that he was just pretending but he actually did it but in a different way, we were thinking of something else but he was thinking of the science way.

I really liked how you explained what he really meant. I was also there when he lifted Sive off the ground, it was really exciting. A simple machine is a basic mechanical device you use for anything. Did you find making your simple toy hard or easy ?
